Robyn Earth-11

Earth-11 is the name given to the Earth, and the universe that contains this particular Earth, in which the superhuman populace are of the reverse gender to the superhuman populace of the main stream DC universe. it was shown in Superman/Batman #22-25.

ok so I did a version of earth 11's Batgirl, but as the gender of the heroes and villians of this world are switched, Batgirl became Bat-Lad. In keeping with that theme I drew a female Robin.

Yes there was a female Robin in the form of Stephanie Brown and then again in the Dark Knight Returns

but for my version this would be the original Robin, Dick Grayson. Who on this world would be Richarda 'ricki' Grayson.

I kept her costume taken my favorite parts of past robin's while adding my own flare here and there. I choose to give her long hair and not a short pixie syle cut for I felt it actually took away from her look. the long sleeve robin top was just for her protection. I lowered the cape to top on her chest for I wanted to slightly echo the 'NightWing' chest symbol. also I felt she would CONSTANTLY be taken the cape off, as she is an acrobat and would find it hindering her ariel moves. Gave her the Tim Drake battle staff but figure it comes apart at the middle so it could become the NightWing eskrima sticks. Added some pouches here and there, mostly to invoke the 'Hush-Jason Todd' robin outfit from the book 'Hush'. I didn't want to just have her top continue to a skirt botton as it had in the Stephanie Brown 'Robin' because I thought it would stand out more if it was just a green skirt over black leggings complete with knee length Green Boots and gloves.

I know most would think its very 'Hit-Girl' in appearance and I struggled trying to come up with a look that didn't reflect that, but in the end I can to a realization that the character of Hit-Girl is a very robin like character just taken to the extreme.
